Star Trails
This is my personal choice for this week. I took this image in the front yard at my dads house in Clayton, North Carolina. I have always loved taking pictures of the stars, but having to shoot at 100 iso limited how long I could have the shutter open even in dark conditions. Being able to take pictures at 50 iso has changed all of that. The shutter was open for over 1,700 seconds, allowing for plenty of rotation in the stars. I like how defined the flare from the streetlight is and how you can still the the Mimosa flowers even in such low light and at such a long exposure.
